Buried with Christ, Raised To Walk in Newness

What an unbelievable picture of newness, life change, and hope. We invited our 50- plus students into worship last night to join us as we baptized one of their brothers. One of our student for the Landing gave us permission to share this incredible picture of a new day in his life. A few weeks ago he received Christ during one of our Landing (CR for Students) meetings. Today, he shows the world what has already happened in his beautiful heart. The neat thing is just one year ago, I had the privilege of baptizing the man who is baptizing the student in these photos. Wow! "Find out for yourself how good the Lord is. Happy are those who find safety with him." Psalms 34:8 So proud of both these men for making a choice to live for Christ. This is why we do what we do. Why do we introduce ourselves?

One of the things that might confuse a newcomer coming into this great ministry is the way we introduce our self and do so every time we meet in a Step Group and/or Open discussion group. The question that often comes up is; “Why in the world would we have to introduce our self every time we come together? I mean, we all know each other don’t we? We all know what the other is struggling with right? So why should I have to state my main issue I am dealing with? These are all logical questions and I think the below content from Tina at Saddleback might help shed some light on this.
