God is moving in CR

(Listen to it HERE ) Those lyrics from David Crowder's "Everything Glorious" pose a very good question.   Read it again..and really think about it!  Now here's the question: If God makes everything glorious, what does that make you?   The truth is out! You are glorious! God is glorious, and you are His.   I know that there are times when you don't feel anything near glorious, because of current situations, or perhaps because of mistakes you have made and you're having a hard time forgiving yourself.  I want to encourage you to remember WHO you are.  You are not your mistakes! Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 I love that verse!  Don't you?   Sometimes it's hard to remember to be courageous when you're facing the unknown, so  You may want to write that verse on a piece of paper or something and put it somewhere you will always see!   God says He will be with you and me wherever we go!   Here's another one:  " The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8 .    As in all things, there are seasons but the one thing we can count on is that God will NEVER leave us!!!   Remember the  HOPE  that Christ has brought us and continues to give us forever and ever!!   " For I know the plans I have for you

God has a plan to lead you perfectly and he is with you wherever you are. His word promises that he is with us - that he takes delight in us and that he loves us!  God delights in you and me!  He loves you! He’s not distant or disinterested in us. God is our perfect father and he wants to help you and me. "The Lord hears his people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles."  Psalms 34:17 I encourage you to let yourself receive what he has already promised to give you, to let yourself believe that his promises are for you.  By Eric Hutchinson, Fellowship Bible Church Celebrate Recovery ministry TEAM Training Coach, 1/6/2021 I recently read a story about a pastor who went to visit a man in his congregation.  The man had been absent from attending services for a long while and the pastor went to check on him.  It was cold and snowy outside and there was smoke rising from the chimney of the man’s house.  The pastor knocked on the door and the man answered.  He invited the pastor into the living room where they sat around the warming glow of the fireplace.  After the normal greetings there was a long pause and it became awkwardly silent as they stared at the crackling fire.  After some time had passed the pastor stood up and grabbed the fireplace poker and stirred the fire.  When he did an ember fell from the fire and the pastor moved the ember to the right, away from the burning flames.   At first, the ember continued to burn but it didn’t take long for the flames to die and the ember cooled into a smolderi
