Trusting in God

While they were growing up, I took the boys to church and the church raised the boys to have a relationship with Jesus. I see now that I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder to have time for anything else at the time. I went through the motions of being a family man and an involved Christian, but later realized that I clearly wasn’t. We thought we had everything going in the right direction, but then things started to go south. One of our sons (Jason) had problems in school. Alcohol and pot took over his life, and he was expelled in the 12th grade. Over the next 4 years he went in and out of county jail and stopped going to church. During all of this we had our ups and downs, but we still continued to put our trust in God. Around 2011 Jason married Lauren, a woman with similar problems. By Eric Hutchinson, Fellowship Rogers CR Training Coach About five years ago my wife and I were down in my basement watching TV. We saw something slithering toward the TV through the carpet. My wife immediately stood up on top of the couch and started screaming! This was not helpful. HA! Anyway, I turned on the lights and discovered that there was not just one baby snake in our house but four. I caught and assassinated three but the fourth snake went under one of our baseboards, and we had to go to bed knowing that there was a snake in the house. As we got up the next morning we were a little nervous walking around the house not knowing where the snake was hiding. We kept looking on the floor as we walked around. Well, I got a handyman to fix the hole where the snakes got in and he found the forth snake. Whew!   How would your actions change if I told you there was a snake in your house?
