Are you Dwelling, Delighting, Committing, Trusting?

As you walk through your day with your Father, do you…
Trust Him? Do you dwell in His presence?  Is the ride with Him a delight or ????
If we trust Him, dwell in his presence and enjoy or delight in our time with Him, then…..we are in a place where we are able to fully commit to our Abba Father.

These are the words that jumped out at me this morning in reading:
Psalm 37:3-5
3 "Trust" in the LORD, and do good;
    "dwell" in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4 "Delight" yourself in the LORD,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 "Commit" your way to the LORD;
    "trust" in him, and he will act.

Does that sound familiar? This is principle's one, two and three of Celebrate Recovery. When we marinate in these principles then we can live in trust to face life’s struggles much better.

Why do we introduce ourselves?

One of the things that might confuse a newcomer coming into this great ministry is the way we introduce our self and do so every time we meet in a Step Group and/or Open discussion group. The question that often comes up is; “Why in the world would we have to introduce our self every time we come together? I mean, we all know each other don’t we? We all know what the other is struggling with right? So why should I have to state my main issue I am dealing with? These are all logical questions and I think the below content from Tina at Saddleback might help shed some light on this.
