Witness His Majesty

Don’t forget to stop by our newcomer tables to welcome our guests and make them feel special.

I want to share some thoughts with you after reading some Max Lucado “God came near” this week.

"The financial aid office says “no”, the doctor says, “pregnant” or “it’s cancer”
The boss says, “transfer” the test grade reads “F”, the auto mechanic says, “totaled” the insurance agent says, “expired”

Change always brings fear before it brings faith. We always assume the worst before we look for the best. God interrupts our lives with something we’ve never seen, and rather than praise, we panic! We interpret the presence of a problem as the absence of God and scoot! Isn’t it a good thing the Shepherds lingered? “Then an angel of the Lord stood before them. The glory of the Lord was shining around them, and they became very frightened.”

Had the shepherd not lingered they might have missed the next verse. “Today your Savior was born in a town of David. He is Christ, the Lord.”

I am so honored to be amongst some of the most incredible shepherds in this ministry called CR. Together we get to be eyewitness of His majesty. Together we get to linger and see what God is going to do next! Isn’t that cool?!

It has been said that Christianity, in its purest form, is nothing more than seeing Jesus. Christian Service, in its purest form, is nothing more than imitating him who we see. To see His Majesty and to imitate Him, that is the sum of Christianity.

Thanks for being you my friends and walking along side with me in this incredible ministry. Jesus is doing some amazing things!

Heavenly Father, thank You that we get to see Your Majesty up front and close. You are so good and we thank You for what You are doing in our life right now as we speak. Help us to linger so that we do not miss out on the next verse of our life. May we imitate You tonight Father. We ask for Your blessing over this night. In Jesus Name, AMEN
